Chinese Traditional Children's Painting ( 8 yrs old and above--- Max for 12 students )
This multi-award winning artist will teach the various techniques
used in Chinese Traditional Brush Painting. Both beginners and advanced students
are welcome. Students will practice drawing a tree, a stone or a mountain until
finally a competition worthy picture has been created, using the skills and
strategies learned in this class. Many students have been studying with Master
Sun for more than 7 years. Some of his students won 1st, 2nd, 3rd or outstanding
prizes in Michigan Statewide or US National Youth Art Competions in 2002,2004 or 2006.

The students will be given an assessment test on the first day of class and then

in math, Mr. Lu and his son David were invited to teach this course. Mr. Lu has many
years of math teaching experience in China. David, with help and coaching from his
parents, has earned first prizes in both MathCount and AMC 8 level competitions. These
two wonderful instructors will lead you in learning the tips and strategies of math
competition and coach you step by step to be successful in your MathCount or AMC 8 level
of competitions. No books are required for this course. The instructor will provide the
test papers in each of the classes.

This course is designed to provide the reading skills necessary for the
students to master the SAT and ACT tests. In class, the instructor will
lead the students to have an intensive practice and verbal reasoning tests
as well as sharing with the students some tips and advices on how to conquer
the toughest questions on the SAT/ACT Critical Reading tests. For sure, this
resourceful 8-week (16 hours) class will be a great resource for improving
