Chinese Traditional Children's Painting ( 8 yrs old and above--- Max for 12 students )

This multi-award winning artist will teach the various techniques used in Chinese Traditional Brush Painting. Both beginners and advanced students are welcome. Students will practice drawing a tree, a stone or a mountain until finally a competition worthy picture has been created, using the skills and strategies learned in this class. Many students have been studying with Master Sun for more than 7 years. Some of his students won 1st, 2nd, 3rd or outstanding prizes in Michigan Statewide or US National Youth Art Competions in 2002,2004 or 2006.

Math Basics ( 6th grade and above )

This class is for 6th grade students and above. The instructor, with many years of math teaching experience, will teach the basics of Algebra & Geometry. The following will be covered: Linear Equations, Ratio and Proportions, Graphing Linear Equations, Plane Geometry, Solid Geometry, Analytical Geometry, etc. The students will be given an assessment test on the first day of class and then the instructor will teach test taking techniques, as well as demonstrating how to solve math problems with different methods and strategies. SAT/ACT Verbal Reading
