Helen H. Xiao, DirectorHelen H. Xiao is the founder of Helen Culture And Art Educational Center -------an independent and non-profit organization locates in Detroit of Michigan. Helen got her bachelor degree of Arts majoring in English from Wuhan University of China and a master degree of science majoring in Computer Information System from the University of Detroit in USA. After her graduation, she worked as a systems analyst at Ford Motor Company and then as a database administrator at EDS Company for five years. As Helen once had over nine years' English teaching experience in a University of China, so since 2004, she started running Helen Culture and Art Educational Center and then Helen International Language School (in 2008) untill today. As a director and principal, she is in charge of administrative functions of HCAEC/HILS and leads the four departments developing their educational programs. As a teacher, she teaches Chinese, Computer & English classes for both youth & adult programs.
Karen Xiao, Office managerKaren Xiao, is in charge of managing HCAEC Administrative office issues, which includes arranging meetings for HCAEC Board Committee and HCAEC's Admins, coordinating between students and HCAEC for its educational programs, reporting big events happening in HCAEC as well as scheduling and choosing topics for HCAEC's Annual Seminars in the end of every year. Besides she is also responsible for the fundraising of the development of HCAEC.
Hui Yang, TreasurerHui Yang, as a treasurer, is responsible for ensuring that HCAEC's financial rules and regulations are followed. In details, she is in charge of cash and tax management for HCAEC.
Shulin Sun, as a first-class artist and the chief in the Art / culture department, is in charge of helping the director arranging the curriculums and organizing the students to prepare for the annual "ART GALLERY" exhibited in Detroit. As a teacher, he teaches youth & adult Chinese Traditional Painting class.
Shibin Hu, as a chief in the Math Department, is in charge of arranging the curriculums and organizing the students to participate in the annual Michigan & USA's Math competitions. As a teacher, he teaches Math Basics at HCAEC.
Monika M. Davies, as a chief in English Language Department, is in charge of helping the director with the arrangement of curriculums and independantly promoting for the International progams.
Xingrui Peng, as a chief in World Language Department, is in charge of arranging the curriculums and helping the director to organize the activities in Chinese Language Department. As a teacher, she teaches Chinese Bilingual Program for children as well as Intermediate Chinese for adult at HCAEC.
